This is Us

Every person makes a difference, and we are committed to ensuring that each one is cared for within a rapidly growing Group.

We believe in mutual respect and cooperation among colleagues; we want to be a company that is attentive to individuals and their needs, giving everyone the opportunity to express themselves. We are a solid Group internally cohesive, yet open to the outside world, and keen to encourage our members to develop their talents, even when they do not fit into the classic concept of soft and hard skills.

Skills development and safety

The management of energy generation and distribution plants requires absolute attention to safety. Protecting the health of workers is not only a regulatory obligation, but a fundamental value of our corporate culture.

For us, investing in people means investing in the future of our Group. That is why we offer stable employment: 96% of the employment contracts are permanent. We also promote the ongoing development of our employees' skills through targeted upskilling programs to enhance existing skills and reskilling programs to address new challenges in the energy sector.

  • Self-training platforms: our employees have access to the Udemy Business platform, with thousands of on-demand courses.
  • Management training: Our managers have access to professional/high-level training courses to strengthen their leadership and communication skills.
  • Technical development: Our operational staff follow specific courses to improve conflict management and promote well-being in complex work environments.

The occupational health and safety Management System we adopt is certified according to the international standard ISO 45001. We manage safety with a view to sustainability, integrating occupational health and safety with environmental management (ISO 14001) in a holistic model that considers social, environmental, and economic factors.

Our way of planning for the future

We invest in the social fabric of the local area. We support initiatives that promote inclusion and education for the younger generation, because we are convinced that the future is a project to be built together.

Our inclusion projects

Concrete projects that aim to create social value, support education, and promote inclusion, transforming our commitment into opportunities for the local area.

Growing Renewables - Sustainability Education

Our program dedicated to schools, in line with Agenda 2030, offers educational courses to raise awareness among the younger generations on the issues of sustainable development

STEM scholarships - equal opportunities

To birdge the gender gap in technical and scientific professions, each year we award five scholarships worth €5,000 each to young female students who choose to enroll in STEM faculties.

Sport as a vehicle for inclusion

We support the local area, sport, and inclusivity through holistically designed projects.

Our "Sali su" (Climb Up) project has enabled people, including those with disabilities, to try climbing safely guided by Alpine Guides.

"Skiing for everyone" is a project that involves young people with disabilities in a day of free alpine and Nordic skiing lessons, in collaboration with ski instructors from the Aosta Valley.

Inclusive energy tours

We have mapped out 12 accessible itineraries that wind their way around energy production facilities and lead to the discovery of the Aosta Valley region. For each route, information is available in 36 languages in audio, LIS, easy reading, and AAC formats, as well as specific information on the route's accessibility.

Our plants tell their story

In 2024, over 1,500 people took part in guided tours of our power plants and dams to discover firsthand how water is transformed into clean energy.
